I have officially reached the 3 month mark in my recovery from Cosmetic Surgery. This I’m told is one of the land marks. All of the noticeable swelling is gone, and the discoloration of the scars has faded considerably. Am I pleased with what I see? The answer to that is a resounding yes.

There is still a ways to go though. I still have nerve damage in all of the affected areas. This has been problematic when applying makeup, and putting in contact lenses. It has also cause concern when wearing earrings.

Without feeling I can not judge whether or not the earrings are too tight, or if one goes missing. (which happened twice at the photo shoot) Neither can I tell if an infection is setting in. So this is an area that requires continuous monitoring.

In another 3 months I expect to be completely healed. This week I hope to be able to go back to the gym. The loss of strength during recovery has been quite unexpected. It as all else will come back in time. Until then I am taking a bit more time away from writing, and spending it enjoying the finer points of life.

The last I heard from my friends at  FaceLiftMexico they were at capacity, and showing no sign of slowing down. I would like to thank them once again for all they are doing for the Medical Tourism Industry. For that matter the Plastic Surgery Industry as well. They are truly offering an affordable alternative to the high cost of Cosmetic Surgery.

That’s it for now. Thank you for staying with me as I continue my journey, and help others as they begin theirs. ~ Starri
