Here it is!
This is how I looked one month ago, about 6 weeks after surgery. Not Bad! I am very pleased to say the least. I’m told it will be 3 to 6 months before everything is totally healed, and settled into place.
Honestly, I can’t envision it looking any better than it does now. The scars are very red still, but fading gradually with time. Of course the sun is a BIG No No this summer.
I still am experiencing numbness as nerves were severed to most of my face, upper and lower eye lids, and ears. Most of the annoying neuropathy is gone which is great. That is the tingling sensation you get when your feet fall asleep, only in my case it is my face that is asleep. I’m only having this sensation periodically along my right jaw line.
That’s a good indication that I have exceeded my limits.
So many of my friends, and family members are now talking cosmetic surgery. I received an email this week from a group of 4 ladies in Las Vegas, NV who would like me to escort them to San Miguel de Allende at the end of this year.
I’m excited to be able to to help them achieve their dreams. Also to see my friends Dr. Koelliker, Fabiola, and Melinda who took such good care of me before, during, and after surgery.
